Our first MOPS meeting!

Our first MOPS of the year was in my (Andrea's) opinion a huge success! Here are a few pictures from the morning! We had a few new faces.......that is Adrienne on the far right.Craft time with some oooey, gooey caramel.
Our fearless leader Kara! Thanks for all you do Kara. We love you!
And our marvelous mentor Joanie! You are the best! We are so blessed to have you!
My camera was abducted during our "free time" at the end. The following are some pictures I was surprised to find later that day. Nice one Kara!

I'm not sure if this is a self portrait or not but I think I can see up your nose Loren!
I guess Kara takes credit for this last shot of Loren's foot. It is a beautiful foot...no corns, callouses, and a nice fall shade of polish. What an artistic eye you have Kara! Let this be a lesson to you girls not to steal other peoples cameras! Cheryl, be careful of these two at convention!!!

Oct 2nd meeting

As you all know, Cheryl, Loren, and I will be gone for the Oct. 2nd meeting. THEREFORE, we need all of you to step up! So I am typing out an agenda for the meeting along with the assigned person to help with that task. If you don't think you can do it, or you have a better idea, let me know!! Remember that steering is bringing snack again this week!!

9-9:20~Check-in/snack (Andrea can you please sit at the welcome table and make sure everyone checks in...NO MONEY WILL BE TAKEN THIS WEEK)
9:20~Welcome mom's and give away 2 prizes...closest birthday and person who stayed up the latest last night. (Courtney)..Lori will see if anyone is expecting!!!
9:30 ~ Icebreaker: How many words: Using the word Amusement have the girls come up with as many words as they can from it. You can team them up or just have them do it individually. Give a prize for the winner. (Courtney...I did have the purse weight game down but we discussed that mom's don't bring purses!! )
9:40~Craft: Shrinky dink name tags~Andrea
10:00~ Joanie: Discipline
10:40~Discussion groups (I will be sending out a list for discussion groups...we are dividing them demographically)
10:55~ Clean up

So sad I will be missing this meeting!! Praying it goes well!!!

Sept 18th decorations

Hey girls...I found this on none other than "Whimsy-girls"website and thought it was a great idea for the circus theme! Whatcha think?

I may need some help blowing these up, but thought they would make a cheap center piece. I have the water balloons and tons of straws...just might need a few vases..or we could put them in the popcorn buckets?

Courtney, do you think you can still pick up some balloons at PC in the morning??
